TruHeart
Average Allena could never match up to her popular best friend. But TruHeart, Allena's favorite rock band, turns everything around.

You'll never lose me. Baby, please choose me. Love me, Love me...
I danced as I dressed for the first day of the spring semester.
"Love me," my favorite song by TruHeart, was on the radio. I'm a serious T-Heart fan, having all of their posters and six band tees.
Last summer I went to their concert with my friend Hector. It was my 1st T-Heart concert, and they're amazing in person.
Girl guitarists Niley & Dee made the melody. Niley's fingers slid down the neck of her heart shaped guitar with angelic Dee playing along.
I could almost touch the curly black hair that fell over CJ's eyes as he drummed out the beat. But Amy was the star, her voice powerful.
We were in the fanatic front row & Hector nearly died when Amy looked our way singing, "Baby, please choose me--" his favorite line.
Freaking out, he yelled "SHE LOOKED AT ME!" as if I wasn't deaf enough from being near the speakers. But, they were great.
My sister Jean loves TruHeart too. When she learned I went to the concert without telling her, she didn't talk to me for a month.
Then came a shock. At the end of their triple platinum hit single, the radio DJ announced the band was going on a hiatus.
Hiatus = BREAKUP! I was so stunned, I put on my skinny jeans backwards. At the same time, my sister screamed in the house, "Turn the TV on!"
